Unexpected, but of course appreciated, I had an hour of free time today. I took the chance to take some pictures I had in mind for a while. Unfortunately I was interrupted by rain and had to realize I am less wheathersealed than my equipment is.
The object is the Bierpinsel in Berlin Steglitz. It is a 47m high tower built in the 70s and part of Pop Art

Another shot from my trip in the woods. The title is inspired by a poem by Robert Frost I had to learn in school which had a lasting impression on me.
The shot has a pacifying atmosphere to me and I always feel like looking down the path but taking another one at an intersection.

On a late autumn day I passed this little wooden house in Bern – very idyllic. Fortunately I almost always have my little Olympus XA with me. This was also the first time I tried to do a lith print – I am happy the way it came out of the developer.

Inspired by the work of C. Rangefinder and his brenizer-method for trees in the woods, I wanted to try something similar. So I took some 30ish shots with my FA77 at F1.8 and stiched them, did some postprocessing on contrast and colors, and here we are. I’d hoped the effect would be more visible, nevertheless I somehow like it.

This weekend I spent some time in the woods near by, primarily to test my new makro. A year ago I used to have one, but hardly ever used it, but now I needed one again.
I enjoyed walking in the rain (thank god Pentax is wheathersealed), enjoying the silence and nature. Finally I found some mushrooms worth taking a picture, however it was more difficult than I expected. My tripod cannot be setup very low and the DOF is very thin. For one of my first tries, I am quite happy with this one.

Ich pflege aktuell hauptsächlich aus Zeitmangel meinen FlickR-Account. Daher möchte ich wenigstens kurz auf die aktuellsten Bilder verweisen:
Bern und Berlin trennt nicht viel – eigentlich nur das li und beides sind Hauptstädte. Die letzten Wochen war ich beruflich in Bern unterwegs und habe einige Impressionen mitgebracht, sowohl digital als auch analog. Außerdem war ich am Wochenende in Berlin unterwegs, und die Kamera hat mich wie immer begleitet. Vielleicht gefällt es ja dem ein oder anderen!
